From Duluth, follow Highway 61 approximately 110 miles to Grand Marais. Follow the Gunflint Trail signs through town. The Gunflint Tail is also called County Road 12.
Stay on the Gunflint Trail for 12 Miles. Turn right on the Trout Lake Road (FSR 140) – look for our sign. Drive 4 miles, turn left at the Trout Lake Resort sign. Please drive carefully – the road is well maintained but narrow.Cell phone service ends a few miles up the Trail. |
